Caleb Mitchell

Caleb is a licensed psychotherapist and executive coach who helps people get brutally honest about what’s driving them and what’s holding them back. For over 20 years, he has sat with clients in the aftermath of trauma, in the pressure cooker of leadership, and in the quiet panic of not knowing what the (pick your explitive) to do next. Caleb’s clients know that he will walk with them through the confusion until they find clarity.

Caleb works with leaders who are burning out but can’t stop pushing, with family business owners who are stuck between loyalty and resentment, and with people who’ve spent their lives performing for approval and are finally ready to figure out who they actually want to be and what they actually want.

Caleb co-runs a group practice (The Phoenix Counseling Collective) focused on depth-oriented therapy that helps people face themselves and what they can do to change their lives vs just addressing symptoms. At CCMitchell Consulting, he coach executives, organizations, and family businesses/offices through moments of transition, tension, and connection. Sometimes the work looks like strategy sessions. Sometimes it looks like slowing down enough to be aware of what patterns you have gotten stuck in. Other times it is getting radically aware of the relational dynamics that are getting in the way of moving forward, and setting up steps to do something different.

Pulling from neurobiology, relational psychology, EMDR, and years of sitting with people in the tension of where they are and where they want to be, Caleb provides wisdom and human presences so that you don’t have to navigate life alone. At the heart of what he does is a belief that if a person can name what’s true about themselves and their situation and chose steps to do something different, then they can lead themselves and others with integrity and clarity.

If you’re stuck, stretched thin, or circling the same questions over and over, Caleb won’t give you a blueprint. But he will ask the kind of questions that help you build one.
